We are still alive

It has been super busy I haven't been keeping up with my blog. Lot of things have came and gone from our lives.

January 23rd our chocolate boy, Dux, became part of this world.

February we got to pick him out and he was the only pup that would cuddle up to Addy girl so we knew he was part of our family.  Because many of our family members were disappearing from our lives before we could even blink.

March 6, we got to bring Dux home. Right before Easter. Addyson has fallen on love with him. As for us we felt like we had a newborn again. He would wake us every three hours to play and go potty. Easter came and we had not been around Josh's parents since December. They invited us to their house for dinner, which we appreciated. I felt a weird vibe being there. Previously we haven't been getting along via text messages. None of this was ever brought face to face. My poor daughter doesn't have her grandparents there all the time. I feel like its my fault, which maybe it is, but I try to fix it. Our life is so busy. But when you feel you are being pushed to your limit with things what do you do? Addyson was so fun though this Easter aside from everything going on in our family. We took her to an Easter egg hunt in Lewiston at pioneer park where a church puts it on. I love singing songs about the one who loves us no matter our faults. And she was able to get her some candy eggs. It was strange not doing it with grandma pat. Later we put a beautiful arrangement of flowers on her grave.  Addyson also became fully potty trained ( she still has accidents once in a while )

April came and we finally found a house we wanted to call our home. Three bedrooms. Two bathrooms. Huge yard. They are leaving a 50 inch screen tv, table and chair set, and a 1800 wooden play set, and a stand up freezer,  I almost forgot.  All these things are in really good condition. I will never forget the feeling of exhaustion after looking at 13 homes. Now we are just waiting for the sign date and we will be home owners in July (end of this month).  Josh and I decided to purchase tickets to Hawaii to see his long time friend Dereck and his wife Angelica. We it to meet their son, Josiah. As much as my stomach was turning and my mind going crazy that I was going to leave Addyson because we weren't able to purchase a ticket for her, my mom kept her and took her to daycare. With the house coming through and now we booked a trip I was very stressed.

May ended up being our busy month like it has been for the last five years. Out anniversary was celebrated durning a weekday and that following day we flew out to Hawaii. The plan ride was long. Once we got there we went to navy base, pearl harbor, and we got to live the military life all over again. Their NEX was huge! I was blown away. And there were all sorts of ships, even some from Japan. We went into the mountains, went to a popular mexican place for food and drinks, got some Hawaiian style food. I think my margarita made me tipsy. I hardly ever drink, so one and done. We went shopping, beach hopping, driving around the island, hiking, Pearl Harbor memorial, and a luau. We enjoyed it aside from the stress. Addyson turned three the 23rd. She had a good day with Josh, I had to work but we celebrated when we all went to dinner and bought her new bikes. Princess bike to be exact. She had a princess themed birthday party. Not many people came because f it being a holiday weekend. Josh's parents didn't come either. Which really was more hard on us because Addy will know one day all this and the what if it's still happening. It's like I am in protective mode. I won't write the huge fight on my blog, but it's silly and very childish. But she didn't even realize it though because she was happy with her princess stuff and horses. I forgot to mention how much she lives horses. And Lisa got her a bear bow she says I am like Merida, aka Brave, it's so fun.

June. I have been waiting for June. The weather has been hot. We have been camping a lot. Addy loves throwing sticks in the water for Dux. He is a good swimmer. He learned from Gpa Wes' dogs when he stayed with them in may when we went to Hawaii. Or maybe when he was 6 weeks old walking in the pasture he fell in the creek and had no choice until Josh caught him.

I hope things start slowing down. We have been busy with work, house stuff, and family time, and crisis.
