Happy Halloween & Happy Birthday Josh!

Josh's birthday was yesterday, October 30, he turned 20 years old. Very young but getting so old! His opinion of his birthday is that it was the worst. He had to work, the wind was blowing hard, and we couldn't get into Applebee's to eat dinner. After we finally had a nice dinner at the Mexican Restaurant we went to Blockbuster and rented a few scary movies (his favorite). I was surprised that I stayed up for one movie and some of the second one. I secretly went to bed before it could start that way I didn't have to watch another scary movie. Today we are excited to hand out candy and show off our decorated house. I am doing more decorating today to make it look spiffy. Josh is loving his new IPOD touch his parents got him. It is really nice and it will be well worth it in the long run. Josh's grandma called yesterday. She is doing great, her attitude that she wants to live and fight this cancer with everything she got, is admiring! I hope we have a good night tonight. Trick r' Treat!

Gossip from Home?

So I've been a little busy but I thought I would post what I heard today. I finally got to sit down and chat with my friend Kysondra who is going to Idaho State University. We both live pretty far from our home towns.
Kysondra: have you heard a rumor that is going around about you?
Me: No
Kysondra: Oh. It's really stupid.
Me: What is it?
Kysondra: Do you really want to know? It's really stupid!
Me: Sure, I shouldn't but I really want to know.
Kysondra: Well, I guess that the rumor is that you purposely skipped some BC pills and got pregnant. And Josh didn't want kids, yet.
Me: haha, that's funny!
Kysondra: So basically you forced him into having a baby!
Me: who told you that.
The mystery is unknown. I'm not really concern about being mad just want to laugh at that person. I know I am young, but not stupid to force my own husband. Its unbelievable how much time people have to make up a story like that. But then again they are only so many things you can do in Weippe/Pierce. It's so sad. I am glad I know the truth at least I would hope I'd know. hahaha I thought this would be funny to post. I don't know if I should even consider that home anymore. Maybe its time to move on and say this is my real home now? Nahh, I love my family & the place. If it was possible to take out all that junk, I would!

Althought I had a bad day with being sick, like always and missing my family in Idaho really bad. Mandy came over and brought me some things she got for me at the store. She got me a girl & boy onesie and a pair of basketball shorts for a little boy. I am so thankful for her and all she has done for me. I hope she knows that she is a really good friend and I would do anything for her. Josh really likes the basketball shorts and the boy onesie deep down I know he thinks the girl onesie is cute. I kind of want a baby girl now that I have an outfit for a girl. It would be nice to have another girl to rule over Josh. I just want to say THANK YOU MANDY, JOE & BRADY!

Hopsital & A Hippo

My very first appointment was today. I had a long day! I was at the hospital from 9:30 to 1:30 in the afternoon. At first I saw the nurse she was really nice and I got to pick how I wanted things as well as picking out my doctor, I chose a girl, in which I don't know how to say her name yet. Then after that I went to the Lab to get blood work. This is the cherry on top of it all. I was like okay I can do this it's not going to hurt. Well I watched the lady stick the needle in my arm and I was fine but once I saw the blood come out of me I lost it. I was almost a goner. The ladies had to keep me awake but eventually I am out of it & it was off to get a flu shot. I am getting the "swine" flu shot here shortly once it comes in. After that I was waiting for my vitamins & pills at the pharmacy. After waiting for an hour they made be go back to the O.B. clinic and ask why they haven't put in the computer that I was to pick them up. In the end it was all a waste of time and the nurse never put them in. I cant wait for my next appointment I get an ultrasound. I really hope Josh gets to come to my next one. OH, and Mandy, the bestest person in the world, made me lunch, ate cookies she was baking, and watched a movie. Honestly after I saw my weight on the scale at the clinic I NEVER WANT TO EAT AGAIN!!! I'm turing into a hippo!

6 weeks

Sunday afternoon we went to the mall in Burlington. We also went to the

outlet store and one of them happen to be Carters. I love Carters, I could

have bought so much stuff but I dont know what I am having because I am

only 6 weeks. I bought a boy thing, so hopefully I have a boy.

Pumpkin Carving

We had our pumpkin party this weekend. Mandy, Joe, Brady, Beth & Us all got together and carved our pumpkins that we got at the pumkin patch. It took me the longest cause I am so slow. Josh did a face then added another face along the side of it. Mandy had a bat, I had a cat, and Beth had a ghost. They turned out great & we had lots of fun. We ate Pizza, Pumpkin Pie, and no we didnt make it, and later that night we had a movie/girls night.

When I went out to get the mail there was a package. I was excited that we got a package from a family friend in Lewiston, Idaho, Lisa Snyder. I opened it and it was this cuddle blanket. I thought it was so cute and our first gift for the baby. Josh thought it was a table place mat but its not. He has so much to learn. I am feeling sick more and more but I am also excited that I am going to be finding out more information about this next week. I hope the baby is healthy.

Pumpkin Patch with the Johnsons!

Today we all got together and went to the Pumpkin Patch in between Oak Harbor & Deception Pass. I was amazed by all the pumpkins, the corn maze, the scarecrows, and of course the food. We had a blast picking up pumpkins that were so cute, well at least Mandy & I did. Mandy discovered that they are pokey little things. Josh had to get the biggest pumpkins ever. Brady had fun posing for us while we got his picture. We had a blast with them.

A little baby update. I was a little nervous to tell my entire family but each and everyone of them are soooo excited.
When my mom told my dad:
Mom: we are going to be grandparents
Dad: Jessa pregnant?? [my little sister]
Mom: No, Sam & Josh!
Dad: ohhh. [excited] I hope its a boy so I can take him hunting, camping, and fishing!
Mom: I don't care what it is as long as it is HEALTHY.
I was so shocked because Dad isn't really that way. I thought he would freak out on me but maybe his age is getting to him. Ha ha. I had to tell my grandparents. Grandma was very happy even though I thought she wasn't. All the family on Josh's side is happy. For some reason his Mom already had an idea so it wasn't as fun but she is excited.
As of yesterday Dad decided that he was super happy we were having a baby because that way they aren't old and have some energy to have a baby around. It made me laugh.
I've been hanging out with Mandy a lot. It's like I need her with me all the time, I'm really scared & nervous for this but since yesterday we looked at a bunch of baby things I just got so excited I want him/her now. But this is the time to prepare ourselves. I don't think Paco is going to be okay with everything. I am pretty sure he is going to be super jealous of the new addition to our family. I am still waiting for the lab to confirm it. I just have the what ifs.... like what if it isn't true. Although I took like 3 test! We will have to see on Tuesday. I feel like that is so so far away!

The visit to Idaho to see my family ended to quickly. I went to my grandparents house on Saturday. We went to a wonderful birthday party for Mr. Chuck Cuddy. He had a very nice birthday with lots of friends and family. The next day we ended up going to the Combine Derby's. It was my grandpa's first time along with mine. We enjoyed it but my cousin sure did get a sun burnt. She and I ended up going to the movies afterwards while my grandpa took my brother up to Weippe. As the week went on I did little things to help my grandma & Gramps out. Grandma and I went to Lewiston to see my auntie and my cousin that always is busy and we shopped, went out to the Main Street Grill, and dessert afterwards at Zany's. It was a fun day and Gramma spoiled me rotten. But I tried to make up for it by picking a WHOLE tree of apple. I have never picked so many apples in my life, but it was worth every minute. Later that same night Gramps made a fire in his fire pit and we played Nickels and I roasted marshmallows out there by myself because it was too cold for anyone else but I was determined to get my marshmallow fix since all summer I wanted to go camping for that reason. I saw a lot of people on my trip and enjoyed many peoples company. The sad part about the trip was that Nic's grandma died and we went to the service it was nice to see Nic & his cousin Stephanie who I haven't seen since we were little kids running around on the farm. The next day Gramma & Mom brought me back to Oak Harbor. I was so sad I was crying for the whole day. I just miss them so much and its really hard to be far away from them. I know I will be making another trip soon.

Sunday Josh and I decorated our front yard and car port with Halloween Decorations. We are very excited that we are celebrating it together. We bought a lot of the stuff at the dollar store, can never go wrong there. Our house looks great. All we need to get are our pumpkins, which I am really excited about. Along with Josh's birthday being the day before I am going to have to get a little party together. I have ideas in mind.
