Addyson @ 20 months

Addyson is a silly, energetic, imaginative, dramatic, funny, great personality, very loving, little girl!
She has been very good about potty training, but I am thinking on my end the usage of pull ups is a waste of money, they are like diapers to the kids, and they wont work. I am a little scared to put the undies on her, due to a wet/poopy mess. She knows when she has to go, but when it comes to poop she forgets to tell one of us that she has to go. I've heard many different ways of approaching potty training. Each child is different. I guess find one that works for you.
So I am purchasing potty training pants, like undies, but have patting and are protected by a plastic cover. Most consignment shops have them, the one closes to me, did, but only boys, and were way to big for Addyson. She has a tiny waist. So we'll see what we can find on the internet for her today.

She always is counting. She can really count to 3 very well, four she skips, like I said, but goes that she can say five! (Mainly because she always ask people for high fives!)

She is all into knucks! Also known as, AKA, pound it! It's very cute.

She is attached to her best friend Hailee. They were cleaning yesterday when I went to pick her up at the sitters house, and she didn't want to stop cleaning with Hailee.

Today she asked for my car keys while we were at the laundry mat(can't wait to have mine back! and a house that has the hook ups!) and she walked out the door, turned before getting all the way out waved by, and left, turned around and seen my face against the glass door, at her level, and she came back and "kissed me" through the glass. I admit I teared up a little bit. I was so emotional. Soon she'll actually be driving away with my car!

She loves her babies, and baahbies (barbies). She knows which clothes goes where, and everything. She also loves her Violet dog, who sings, talks, and tries to do activities with her. She also dances around with her.

Addyson's 18 month appointment is scheduled 3 days before she is 20 months. Can't wait to see how big she is. I'm pretty sure she is 22 - 23 lbs!

I've made it...

I've made it two weeks on this HCG diet. I slipped last weekend gaining 2 lbs back.
But I concured this week and lost my goal weight for the week of 5lbs!

My goal each week; 5 lbs!

My goal for six weeks: 20 lbs!

If I were to lose 5 lbs a week I'd be a 30 lbs. lost in six weeks!
(like thats going to happen....!)

So far I've lost 12 lbs!
minus the 2 I gained: I lost 10lbs!

I'm proud to announce I am back to where I was when I found out I was pregnant, and I was EIGHT weeks!

Sad part, I still have 4 weeks to go! 10 more lbs to go....Happy Dieting!

January 06, 2012

How we rang in the new year. Goodbye 2011.

2011 was a bad year but a good year.

Josh became Petty Officer in the USN; shortly after, his NAVY time was over, and
we are truly thankful of the support we had through that time, Lord knows I wouldn't have made it through it, but we all did, and in a way I am thankful for it, but at times I miss it.

Addyson turned one.

We moved to Idaho, back I should say.

Had a fun summer, actually swimming in water!

Josh got his dream job at Nightforce Optics, he is being trained to be a Machinist, which is great for him, he wont have to put in the years for college.

Josh's grandma's cancer has gotten worse (but as of 2012 has down sized)

Much time with Addyson's grandparents. she loves her grammies & yes, not so much her papas, she has a male issue still, that worries me!

Addyson has a big bond with her cousin, Justin

We learned we're aunt/uncle/cousin again!

Over all it was a year that was a blessing in disguise!

So how did we ring in the New Year?

We tried to stay up as long as we could. But we ended up crashing on the couches. Josh on the floor I should say. Addyson stayed up till 9. We played dolls and tea party. We woke up 3 minutes after the ball dropped on TV. We have "PARENTS" written all over us!

2012 so far:

I recently started the HCG diets. Man, does it have lots of haters. I have lost 10 lbs so far and its been a week tomorrow (1/7). I am mainly doing this yes to lose weight, but to be a healthier mom, and to show Addyson the right ways to eat before she is at the age of understanding body image issues are. Josh is on going to the path with me, but he sorta got off of it after 2 days of it. Addyson knows her ABC. well the melody, and A, G, E, F, D. and 1. 2. 3. 4....well skips that. and 5! She is so smart! She goes the drs this month for her 18 month, thanks Valley Med. She'll be nearly 20 months, when we get into see you!

Christmas 2011

I would have to say this was a very good Christmas. No not because Addyson got so much that she is now busy making sure her babies are fed, her tricycle is rode, and her clothes are folded. She is a good housekeeper ;) We had Christmas Eve with our ENTIRE family. Josh's and Mine. I was worried that nobody was going to have a good time, due to the fact it seems nobody likes each other, how sad, I know, but it turned out great! First time we had our families at our house in the same time/day. I made lasagna, and many other sides, and then for Christmas Day, I made Ham for Josh's sisters/Austin & Mom. Josh's dad had to work on Christmas Day, being Manager you have to be there for things like that. My parents went to my Uncles, and I just didn't feel comfortable driving that far when I just wanted to relax and enjoy gifts. I was a major slacker when it came to the Christmas cards this year. I hope all who got one had a picture in it, if not I'm so sorry! That's how crazy life is, next year Costco, 50 for $16.00 and you have your pictures plastered to the front of it :) Paco has been enjoying his bones and new toys. Addyson loves playing with him. We didn't have any snow. We live where they usually get 5 feet of snow. (& I'm typing this in January and its been 52 degrees!)

Before we had an evening Christmas (Day) dinner, Josh, Addyson and I went to his parents, nobody was around so we walked to the ponds (which don't have much water in them) which are frozen over, and "ice skated" on them. It was so fun. A memory to treasure forever!
