Josh's 1st Day

Josh's first day of work is today! He is nervous going to work as a civilian. He'll do great, It's Josh!

Later:

Josh didn't get home until 5:30. He worked from 7 - 5:30 with only a 20 minute break. He's loving his new job. He can work hard, not be bothered by idiots. He gets weekends off. No duty weekends, yay! Now I just applied for a secretary job at the school. I don't know what are the chances of me getting it, but I hope I do. Or else its me applying for a mill. :(

Princess Potty

One day out of the blue I decided I wanted to start potty training. Addyson is scared of the toilet. So I went shopping with my Grandma and she decided she would buy Addyson a princess potty. Addyson loves it. She loves the flush handle that makes pretty music. And she likes taking it apart. Its a 3 in 1 potty so it can be a little potty, put parts on the big potty so they aren't scared to fall in and a stool. Addyson sat on it for at least 15 minutes. But she didnt go potty. So everytime I see her starting to poop we run to the potty so she can go. Well, it worked. She did it. She still doens't understand fully, but we are getting there. I'm excited for the princess potty!

Family Reunion & Great Grandmas

This last week I spent most of it at my grandmas. Which is Addy's great grandmas. She loves her great grandma. She sings, makes her giant meals, has lots of fruit, (Addyson's favorite thing in the world), and bought her a new princess potty and a bunch of other goodies. We love them for letting us stay with them until we get our own place. Which is going to be soon. Josh got a job at the mill in our hometown. I never thought in a million years I'd ever move back, but its just for now. So we can have a home again, and be normal and not live out of a suitcase anymore. Josh will be making $60.00 more than he did in the NAVY every two week and he will get medical. We plan on moving to Lewiston area soon, and buy a house maybe. I'm excited for all the new things going to be happening. Its been stressful, let me tell ya, but Josh and I have a stronger love now, We've been through so much but at the end of the day we cuddle in bed talking about all the things that have happened and how happy we are now. One of those new things is we are getting a new vehicle. Well, used but new to us. We moved to Idaho, Idaho gets lots of snow, and our big ol' Magnum isn't going to do very well in five feet of snow. I'm excited for that. Because I get to pick a new car out as well. Yup, we haven't decided fully but two new (to us) vehicles. Now going back to the subject of my Grandma. She is the best woman I have ever met. She taught me how to cook, manners, and much more. She has always been there for me, especially through this hard time. She lets me cry, she comforts me, and she always makes the best food and goodies. I am so blessed for her and my grandpa. I love them beyond words.
Yesterday (Saturday July 23rd) was my family reunion. My uncle and his five kids (3 adopted 1 grand child and his son) all came up from Boise. We had a fun night, more like CRAZY night for the adults trying to get everyone settled for bed. They were so exited to go to the lake. Our family reunions have down sized a large bit. Many people find excuses not to go, but who can pass up boating, seeing family, seeing cousins play, and eating wonderful food?!? I just don't get it. I enjoyed it so much. I love hanging out with people I haven't seen in 2 years thanks to the NAVY life. Addyson loved playing with her 3rd cousins. (I guess that's what they are) My cousin Jen, brought a blow up pool for the toddlers. Addyson was a major lounger in the pool. I was happy they brought that so I didn't have to take her on the lake. Josh was breaking in his new work boots ($200 big ones) so he didn't care much for going out swimming. I enjoyed it. Nothing like floating and chatting with some good family. The second time we went Josh and I both went just to ride around the lake, while my mom watched Addyson. It was a fun week/weekend. Lots accomplished and lots of fun!

1st Idaho Camping Addy

Our 1st Idaho camp out wasn't very good. (Well we just camped out in Josh's parents big huge yard) Addyson slept like a little angel considering we put the pack n' play in the tent with a bunch of blankets. Josh and I froze. We were very unprepared! Maybe next time we'll do better?

The Lake

Yesterday was Josh's mom's birthday and the day before was my moms. For my moms we had a BBQ with some family. Then the next day was Rhonda's and we all went to the lake. It was very enjoyable. The water wasn't bad at all. Addyson had so much fun swimming. We'll be beach bums every weekend once we get our own place.

i miss....

I miss my really good friend MANDY and her family. :( I went to my parents store (aka a gas station in Weippe) and they had a package of mini cupcakes. I almost started crying. Reminded me of the times I'd go to Mandy's and we'd crave cupcakes because of watching cupcake wars, or something like that, and Joe would buy cupcakes.

1st week back

Josh, Addy and I have been in Idaho for a week now. We've applied at many places, got on unemployment for the time being, that was a hassle, and enjoyed my grandparents, our parents, siblings, company. I'm stressed out most the time. Addy has sure been getting spoiled. Our car is a mess. We're basically living out of our car. The other night Josh, Addy, and I all got a hotel room and they had a pool and a hot tub. We loved being away from everyone for a night. We can't wait till one of us gets a job so we can have a normal life. And our car back.

moving week.

This last week has been very stressful. Josh checked out of the Navy. He is officially a civilian as of Friday at 8am. I think he is in love with his freedom now. At least he got his GI bill, so it's off to school maybe. I want to stay in Lewiston/Moscow area because I'm not going to lie its nice to have grandparents here to entertain Addy. And her one cousin. I do love Washington though, maybe we can find jobs and move back that way, hint hint. We couldn't have loaded the uhaul by ourselves. Thankfully Joe came over to help load. Josh and him loaded most of everything. Sorry Joe, I wasn't much help. Saying goodbye the next day was the hardest thing on earth. I hate saying goodbye to my favorite family. They have been the best friends I have ever had. SERIOUSLY! I think I cried clear to Seattle. Off and On. Especially after I got off the phone with my mom and told her how sad I was. I miss those Johnson's! We've created so many good memories. I'm so blessed to have met them, in my hardest times, they were right there for me. Now after all the crying and realizing 1384 Western Drive wasn't our home anymore, we just zoomed on through to Idaho. We got to Idaho around 6pm. We made pretty good timing, considering we had a toddler & a chihuahua who cried most the way. Ayyy yaaaa yyaa! I was going to go crazy. Josh was all by himself in the uhaul. LUCKY! He ditched me right before Ellensburg, Wa. because I had to change a diaper. I was lucky though, Addy didn't poop the whole way! Bad for her but good for me.

I miss you Oak Harbor, You were my first home, I met an amazing family and I had my first baby there.
