Eggnog Cookies:
EGGNOG COOKIES
yield: 16 dozen
1 cup butter, softened
2 cups sugar
1 cup egg nog
1 tsp. baking soda
1/2 tsp. ground nutmeg
5 1/2 cups flour
In a bowl, beat together the butter and sugar. Beat in the eggnog, baking soda, and nutmeg. Gradually add flour; mix well. Cover and chill for 1 hour. On a lightly floured surface(I used powdered sugar instead of flour) roll out the dough to 1/8 inch thickness. Cut in any shape and place cookies on ungreased cookie sheets.(I line my cookie sheets with parchment paper) Bake cookies at 350 degrees for 6-8 minutes or until lightly browned around the edges. Cool on a wire rack
EGGNOG FROSTING
1/2 cup cream cheese
1/2 cup butter
3 Tblsp eggnog
1/2 tsp ground nutmeg
1 3/4 cup powdered sugar
Cream together the cream cheese and butter. Add eggnog and nutmeg. Beat in powdered sugar You can garnish the cookies with a little nutmeg, or leave it off. Your choice.
Butterscotch Oatmeal M&M Cookies:
3/4 Cup granulated sugar
3/4 Cup packed light brown sugar
2 eggs
1 teaspoon vanilla
3 Tablespoons butterscotch ice cream topping
2 Cups all purpose flour
1 1/2 Cups oatmeal, I used Coach’s Oats
1 teaspoon baking soda
1/2 teaspoon salt
2 1/2 Cups chocolate chips
1 Cup M&M’s
1. Preheat oven to 350 degrees F. In stand mixer beat butter and sugars until well combined. Beat in eggs, vanilla and butterscotch topping until well combined. 2. In large bowl mix the flour, oats, baking soda and salt. Slowly add to wet ingredients along with the chocolate chips until just combined. 3. Scoop about 1/4 Cup dough into muffin top pans that have been sprayed with cooking spray. Flatten with palm of your hand then top with 5-7 M&M’s per cookie. Bake for 11-13 minutes or until cooked through and golden around edges. Remove from oven and loosen edges of cookies while warm so they will be easy to remove. Let cool for 5 minutes then transfer to a cooling rack. 24 Large cookies.
Homemade Picture Frames:
To start you need:
*One wooden frame
*Paintbrush *Mod Podge
*Scrapbook paper and embellishments of your choice
*Scissors
Chocolate Chip Oreo Cookie Sandwich:
sticks softened butter
3/4 Cup packed light brown sugar
1 Cup granulated sugar

1 Tablespoon pure vanilla
3 1/2 Cups all purpose flour
1 teaspoon salt 1 teaspoon baking soda
10 oz bag chocolate chips
1 bag Oreo Cookies, I used the double stuff
1. Preheat oven to 350 degrees F. In a stand or electric mixer cream butter and sugars until well combined. Add in eggs and vanilla until well combined. 2. In a separate bowl mix the flour, salt and baking soda. Slowly add to wet ingredients along with chocolate chips until just combined. Using a cookie scoop take one scoop of cookie dough and place on top of an Oreo Cookie. Take another scoop of dough and place on bottom of Oreo Cookie. Seal edges together by pressing and cupping in hand until Oreo Cookie is enclosed with dough. Place onto a parchment or silpat lined baking sheet and bake cookies 9-13 minutes or until cookies are baked to your liking. Let cool for 5 minutes before transferring to cooling rack. Serve with a tall glass of milk, enjoy! Makes about 2 dozen VERY LARGE Cookies

This isn't really blog stalking but facebook stalking. One of my old highschool classmates liked this page on fb and its about bows and tutus and such. I've been trying to make Addyson bows as best as I can, I'm just a started. Also learned and made a tutu for Addy girl. I'm planning a trip to Michaels to see if I can get some dicounted ribbon :)
