A family of four....Johnson Family

Finally, Baby Connor Axel Johnson arrived today at 12:40 p.m. weighing 7lbs. 13oz. & 19 1/2 inches long. Mandy is such a troop. This baby didn't want to come out and see us. She is a strong woman. Brady is a happy little brother. When I was there seeing Connor I think Brady thought it was his turn to hold his brother. So adorable. I can't wait to see him again. He's a little cutie.

Seattle/Tacoma Trip - Zoo 2010

This past week Josh's Grandma Pat came on over to our house after her Drs. appointment in Spokane. She brought Addyson some newborn pants and a couple jackets when she is 18 months. As well as other things from a couple of her friends. Its nice getting gifts but I guess you can never have to much stuff. Especially for a little girl. We were trying to plan something fun for all of us to do so we finally agreed on going to Seattle/Tacoma area and doing things there. We first went to Seattle and went to a Museum that had lots of different things in it. Next, We went to Pikes Market & then down by the water and looked at one shop there. I wish we had more time but we didn't. Off to Tacoma area to get checked into our hotel. It was an ok place to stay, Josh's Gram was so kind for purchasing the room. It was of course Addysons first night staying anywhere besides home. She did so well, she only woke up once. We just hung out and went to dinner. Then the next day we were off to the zoo. Although Addyson isn't very old, it was still her first time going. She just slept most of the time but did GREAT when it came to feeding & changing her. We got to see many different things and it was very enjoyable. I felt bad that we kept going ahead of his gram but Josh was on a time schedule because we had to get back home because he had work in the morning. I think her stay was fun. Although Josh had his moments but all in all it was nice to visit with her.

Planning

Grandma Pat is here to stay with us for a while. We have been planning what we are all going to do this weekend. Last night we actually took a break and went to Costco and out to dinner at the Outback Steak House. Its very expensive but they have good food. Pat & I thought it would be cool to see the rainforest and then we want to go to the Zoo. So Pat decided to go all the way around. See the rainforest & the one place I really want to see, Forks, Wa., We'll probably stay the night in Forks. I am so excited but I have no idea where I am going to get the energy for all this. I think she is leaving Monday we I have a few days of rest before Josh's mom comes.

addyson meets grandparents

This weekend my mom, dad and sister came to visit. They weren't here that long but we all had a fun time. Even though parts were stressful but we moved on from that. Mom loved Addyson; she didn't want to leave, I wish she didn't have too. We went all over showing them the island. I think they had a good time too. We met our cousins from North Carolina who we never met until now. They live in Everret. It was nice to meet someone you have just seen pictures of. I've been waiting for Mandy's baby to come. He should be here any time now. I haven't heard from her so hopefully I haven't missed anything. I am getting things ready for Grandma Pat to come tomorrow. We should have a fun time with her.

Just Addyson & I

Josh went back to work on Monday and its just been Addyson and I all night and all day. The all night thing, I'm serious. I wake up to feed Addyson so Josh gets sleep, kind of unfair, but I know that he needs his rest or I have to deal with a cranky man. He tries to help as much as he can after work. I'm kind of getting the hang of tending to my little girl and getting house work done. I'm worn out but I guess that is the life of a mommy. My parents and little sister are coming this weekend. They'll be here tomorrow & I'm very excited and curious on what we are all going to do. I've been doing my best to get this house clean. The downstairs bathroom was dirty, nobody every goes down there so there were dead bugs and mold in my toilet, yuck. I'm so embarrassed! Lets just say there was a lot of heavy cleaning yesterday and today I am going to do the rest. Last night we gave Addyson a bath without the newborn seat and that was a mistake, she needed it and to keep me sane I needed it I was so scared she was all slipper and going to fall out of my hands. She ended up peeing all over me before I got her in the bath. It was a lot of pee and it was all over. Her dad was having a panic attack. What a crazy night in the Stuart house.

Addysons 2 week appointment

Yesterday was Addyson's two week well-child appointment. She did very well except once she was getting picked at she didn't like it very well. Here are her stats:
Weight: 6lbs 3.7oz - 5-10%
Length: 19 1/4 inches long - 10%
Head: 31.4 cm - < 3%

Whats been happening.....

We are finally getting a little schedule/sleep going on around here. Josh and I wake up every three hours to feed her and we take turns doing it. It seems to be working out and is giving us lots of sleep. We still have to sleep during the day when she does just because she wears us out. I just love her to pieces. I have left her twice now. The first time was for two hours and I went to a budgeting for baby class and got lots of Gerber stuff & lots of knowledge about budgeting. Even though Josh thinks we don't need to do it but I would love to. The second time I left her was for my dentist appointment. Ahh, it killed me. I was completely sick to my stomach with out her. Probably because I felt guilty but she was with her daddy! Josh is a great dad he is always willing to help and even helps around the house. I wish I wasn't still in pain once in a while down there. I feel a stinging once in a while. I hate it. Meghan and Gary came over and seen her. They are so nice they brought us something from their trip. I truly have met some outstanding people. Especially Mandy, she has helped a lot. Beth came as well, its her bridal shower today and I wish I could have gone, I need to get her a present this up coming weekend. Hopefully she don't mind its late! I can't wait to be able to go to Burlington to shop! Mom, Dad, and Jessa are coming this up coming Friday. I can't wait for them to see my little girl and I am so glad my sister is coming. I was worried she wouldn't come. Wyatt isn't coming which I am bummed about but he is Wyatt, he doesn't do well out of his comfort zone. But I love him anyways. I hate pictures of me!!! I am so chubbyy!!! I wish I looked like I us to look like. I can't wait to start on me! I want to start going to the gym but I'm not a hundred percent yet so walking is going to have to do. I need to start eating healthy too, so I'm sure that I am going to be starting on my operation fifty pounds soon! That's all that's been going on around here. Today we took her out to west beach to get some air and took a walk in the stroller then we took some snap shots before we left. We're just lovin' on our little angel!

So far we have been doing so much better since we are formula feeding. We both are taking turns with it and we both are trying to keep our house clean. Nights are getting easier. Her unbilical cord fell off this last weekend which I am glad it finally did. We no longer have to go to the doctors until Monday for her well-child appointment. She looks like she is gaining weight. The only thing I hate is that she always smells like formula. Its the worst smell. I feel guilty for not sticking to breast feeding but its also nice that Josh is getting to bond with her. He loves her so much and is doing a good job. He is getting bored being at home all day but he will be back to work Sunday. Which I am not looking forward to.
