28 Weeks - Her heart beat is music to my ears

This morning I went to the doctor for my 28th week appointment. I am measured to be 27 cm. The baby's heart beat started out to be 167 or something like that but after a few seconds her heart rate dropped down to 153 beats. Her head is pointed down, right at the bottom of my belly. Then her butt is clear up on the top of my belly with her legs facing to the right, where I feel the worse pain, and then her back is pointed towards the left. That is what the doctor gathered by feeling around. After that I had to sign papers for the epidural. Deep down natural sounds good but I'm in denial when I say that, I couldn't handle the pain. Afterwards, I went to the lab and drank some orange "sugar" soda and then waited an hour to get my blood drawn. I thought for sure I'd pass out when she stuck the needle in me but I did alright. I didn't even get sick. I think I was just thinking I need to get through this so I can leave. I was starved. Today Josh had his exam for E4-Petty Officer-3rd Class. He studied last night after the parade but he doesn't feel 100% about the test. I hope he did well, he deserves to do well. Tonight is our 3rd baby class.
