This whole week has been a roller coaster ride. You would think that families stick together no matter what gets in the way. I've learned that I married into a family that isn't like that. I am not use to that so its been tough on Josh and I mentally and relationship wise. We are working through everything. Josh is working hard to get is qualifications. He now has to go to ten hour shifts along with doing the E-4 test which he has to study really hard for. I've been stressing about my college compass test. I am not very good with test. I am hoping that I get my job at Payless I should be hearing about that soon. Weekend finally got here. Thursday night I had a slumber party with Mandy, her twin sister, and their childhood friend. I was so happy because I could finally take my mind off all the nonsense. Even Brady was staying here at the house with us. It was nice to sit around enjoy margaritas and just have girl talk. Josh of course was around for some of it and he actually can go into most of our conversation it was just weird having my husband there talking to girls. The next day they had to go to a funeral so Mandy & I [and Brady] sat at the house until the boys got off work. I loved having her here although it was embarrassing for her to come here when we have NO food. Next time hopefully we will. That night we went to a drive inn movie. We watched Transformers 2 and G.I. Joe. They were both good, I wish we could have sat out side and just take it all in. Saturday - We ended up going to the beach to see Mandy, Joe & her parents, Trista and Doc. The tide was in so we didn't really get to walk. We all decided that we were going to have a BBQ and go swimming at the hotel Trista & Doc were staying at. The BBQ was super nice. They had a lot of fruit salads, and the steaks were so good. We couldn't wait to go swimming!! Brady did enjoy the pool and afterwards we enjoyed the hot tub. Just what I need after all the junk that was going on outside of the fun. The hotel was super nice, it had cookies & a popcorn maker that guest could enjoy. Did we ever enjoy the cookies!! We sat and talked in the hotel for hours. It was so much fun. Now for Today. We didn't want to move around so we were slow but we met up with Johnsons/Howells at west beach. Then we ended up going to Windjammer to play some basketball and walk along the ocean. Of course we played horse but we had to squeeze in a game of 3 on 3. girls vs. boys. Guess what, the girls were actually GREAT. The boys had it in for them. Trista, Mandy's mom, did an awesome job, Mandy, was amazing, even though Joe accidently hit her in the face, and me, I tried my best, but Josh always gets my attention, somehow. We all had a great time. I hope things go well this week. I am going to always remember what comes around goes around.
