Today was the longest day of my life. I decided that I would let Josh have a dog finally because if i didn't he wouldn't STOP bugging me about it. I really didn't want him to get a new dog because I knew he just wanted to fill the hole where Bear once was. We ventured to Port Townshed where we discovered that the Ferry took FOREVER to get on both ways. On the way back it took us four hours of waiting for a spot to cross the ocean blue. I think the whole trip wasn't as fun as I wish it was. We ended up getting a CHOW CHOW, nothing against them but I don't know how I am going to handle all the shedding of the black hair. For goodness sakes, his hair is as long as mine. Plus on top of it I feel like I am going to bust out in tears. I am not happy. I am just sad. Sometimes I wonder if my "love of my life" or my "husband" understands that he need to stop WASTING MONEY on stuff JUST for him. Its like he can starve and just be go lucky if he has what he wants. I want out sometimes, but I am in this for the long hard road. Maybe tomorrow will be brighter. If I can get over the SMELL of the CHOW CHOW.

Yesterday we went to Mandy & Joe's place to have steak. Brady was a little sick because of the heat. I never thought it got this hot here. I honestly cant stand it. I have to fill my bathtub up with cold water just to breathe. its horrible. Today was just the same way. This weekend I am going to get a mini pool or something its ridiculous. We ventured out to Deception Pass and went to the state park part, they have a huge lake with a place for people to swim and if people dont want to swim in the lake just go to the ocean which is right there. Josh and I agreed if its THIS hot on Saturday we are defiantly going swimming. Only took us a few months to find a lake here.

Last week was a crazy week. On top of doing stuff for college I took time to hang out with Mandy. Thursday we went to her parents house in Auburn, WA. I loved it. We went to a bridal shower, her youngest sister-in-law's. It was fun, lots of good snacks too. Mandy got Ashley a moo-moo [aka house coat] and it was a hit at the party. We hung out with her family. I really like them, they are so nice, and they just love Poco. We went to Tia food joint where I had some spicy food. Had a Mexican birthday party for Darlene, Joe's Mom, which was so much fun, I think I ate so much over the weekend that I gained a lot of weight. On Saturday we went to the Zoo. The zoo was fun, I just wish they had lots more animals but what I did see was completely new for me. Just having a girls weekend was fun. But it wasn't completely just girls we had her baby boy Brady with us. Josh sure did miss me which I was surprised. I am so lucky to have him in my life. I didn't come home to a dirty house, it was clean. Josh even wanted to make dinner for me. I got some new clothes from grandma, they are cute. I just wish I could see her. I better get stop writing today it is so hot I can barely stand blogging.

Josh and I didn't do much of anything but spending time together is always nice. We ended up spending the morning just watching movies. Later we finally got ready and went out and about. We went and got things from wal-mart that we needed before we get our television went to blockbuster to see if there is any more good deals on movies. Josh decided to go run this trail on base. It was HARD. I was basically going to die. but i kept going only stopped a few times. Its really nice the ocean was a roaring today. The weather was so windy at first I was cold and next thing I was trying to get in the shade and let the wind take me away. It wasn't over yet we went to the gym. Josh took me out he was dressed so nice, he was a handsome handsome man. I know why he has my heart when I saw him. Now we are really full and sleepy. Josh has night watch so I will be sleeping hopefully while he is doing his duty.

Today we found out that the guy we were going to get our new member to our family is a pet scam! Isn't that just great. We knew something was wrong when he said he was from Africa and it was going to be shipped here through mail. Why would you ship an animal in the mail? Is that even possible? Other than that something great has happened today. I signed up for COLLEGE!!! Isn't that amazing. We have a campus on the base that is called Columbia University and its for military well they helped me sign up for an online college, University of Phoenix. Yes, I am a Phoenix now!! At least I think that is their mascot. I am going to get my associates in Health care Administration. I am so excited. I am nervous for it too. Well, tomorrow is going to be a long day. I am not looking forward to it.

This was the long but short day. I got a lot of things done around the house. I cleaned & I mowed our semi-green lawn. I wish it would get greener but I have to go nagg at Forest City to fix my faucet and I really dont want that so I guess I am going to have to buck up and do it soon. Josh and I went grocery shopping and we got lots of groceries that should last us till next pay check. I want to get a job that way we are comfortable and aren't so paranoid about money. I will just have to keep searching & keep waiting for my mom to send me my resume. Reminds me I should call her. We havent recieved our puppy yet so we will see what tomorrow will bring us. Hopefully our little friend.

Even though I didn't get a chance to write yesterday nothing really happened. We just sat around and watched movies. Josh had late night watch so I had trouble sleeping. But today is a new day and we got some good news about our little addition to the family. We are so excited to get another puppy. Poco will have a friend to play with. I am kind of nervous about what the puppy will do to my shoes & furniture. Hopefully Poco will show him a thing or two. Joe's birthday is today so we had Spider Man cake with the Johnson family. We are certainly blessed to have amazing friends here in Oak Harbor. They gave us some of the cake so I am sure the gym was a waste of time but hopefully I can go jog around the neighborhood or I am going to get to be a little on the heavy side soon. I am not use to all these fast food places and stores that are open past seven o'clock. Its always been a dream to live somewhere like that, but it does have its downs. Josh also called Comcast and we are finally getting cable. Now I will get to watch my shoe Army Wives and my favorite channel MTV. I hope I can plan a day for the Johnson's to come here and have dinner and dessert with us. I want to make Lisa's new dessert she always made for me when I was back home. I will continue tomorrow.

Tonight sucked. I was here alone. I watched a little of Army Wives online. now i am just waiting for my Josh to get off work. Poco was really hyper tonight and ate a pencil, almost ate josh's white long sock. I miss my family and loved it cause I got to talk to my sister for hours tonight. I finished my book. It was a good one, now on to number three. I am sick of certain things about the married life. I hope it gets better as the future comes.

Yesterday [7.7.09] was barely anything to write about. I cleaned the entire house which took forever. At least it smells good and looks nice. I have been watering my lawn for like hours due to it being yellow. I will continue doing that today. My grandma and I had a nice conversation. My cousin Heather is pregnant with her second child. Sometimes we want to start our little family but we love that we don't have to deal with dirty diapers and smelly throw-up. Although if it does happen we would be happy. I decided that we need television because I am going crazy with out it. Josh and I ate dinner late last night and finished a movie that we didn't finish before. Oh before all this Josh should me the inside of the base. There are many things to do in there. You can work out, eat McDonald's, hike on a path that is only 3 miles, or like USN people do, they work. All of it reminds me of a little village all for itself. Josh is going to be gone all day today [7.8.09] because he has watch this evening. I am kind of scared to be here at night by myself. Our lighting isn't that great outside so if someone tries to break in I am going to be a blind little woman. Hopefully I finish the Twilight Sage: New Moon. It's a really good book. Not as good as the first but its good. This is enough for now.

Today wasn't anything out of the ordinary. We did the usual paid bills, went to get some little things for the car, rent a redbox, and just stayed around the house all day. We got our first credit card today in the mail. We aren't activating it until its a major need. Its suppose to be used to student things, like my school books, and such. Reminds me that I need to get signed up. Hopefully tomorrow will be an eventful day.

Fourth of July Weekend
This fourth our plans changed. We went to Seattle with Joe, Mandy, and Brady. It was super fun. Josh about had a heart attack going over there because he wasn't use to driving with a lot of fast cars. That night we had a BBQ at Mandy's parents house. It was a really nice BBQ and her family is WONDERFUL. Later we went to Joe's parents house, where we would be staying, and hung out there. Poco met a friend. Her name is Tiki. They had lots of fun through out the weekend playing. Joe's mom watched Poco for us while we went to the movies. It was nice to hang out and go to the movies with friends. Saturday was a busy day for us. We went to the South Seattle Mall. It is pretty big. Afterwards, we went to cold stone to get some ice cream. Josh looked for TVs the whole weekend but we are putting that off again for a few more weeks. The BBQ at Joe's was amazing, we all had a nice time visiting and telling our story. One of the boys name Henry, one years old, kept following me around, wanting to sit by me, and I guess he doesn't do that to hardly anyone, so it made me feel special. We all headed to Celebration Park to walk around and see the different festivities they had there. We brought blankets to lay down so when the firework display came we had our spot. Joe, Brady, Josh, and Mandy's parents all decided to leave so it was just Mandy, Me, and Beth (Mandy's Friend), and Joe's Family. We had a good time watching the fireworks but alot of pieces was falling from the sky due to the fireworks and the wind. Joe's brothers son got some in his eye as well as Mandy. Although we had issues with that we still enjoyed the BEAUTIFUL show. I never seen so many fireworks that were all so bright. Sunday, Josh and I came home, so we can rest and enjoy the rest of the weekend at our home. Josh was nervous going back with out a mentor but we had the GPS and it made it so much easier and it didn't get us lost what so ever. It was a beautiful drive. We made a stop by deception pass and ended up by a lake instead of the blue salty ocean. Hopefully we can make another trip with our friends.

A Few Days Missed

Getting use to blog spot might take me a while. As you can tell I haven't wrote in a few days. Nothing has really happened so dramatic just issues but they are hopefully solved by now. Wednesday Josh and I went grocery shopping, now he thinks he needs to eat EVERYHTING we got, don't worry I wont let him. After we went grocery shopping we went to Joe & Mandy's the ended up feeding us (again). They are super nice and I hope we can do a lot together it makes living away from home a lot easier.

Yesterday was the best day ever for me this week. Yesterday we went into town to go shopping. We got flowers, josh got his tool set, I got decorating things for the front room, and more grocery's. Later last night we met up with Joe and Mandy. We went to the carnival in town. I thought it would have been better than what it appeared to be but it was a nice little carnival just a little bit gross when the carnies have their tents set up all around. We ditched the carnival and walked along the water. It amazes me that I finally got my dream of being right by the ocean water. Its amazing. Joe & Mandy invited us to go to Seattle. Its going to be a fun fun weekend. I cant wait to leave. So I better get off here and finish the chores around the house.
